How can I apply?
We will accept your meaningful application documents preferably via the application form or by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
What documents should my application folder contain?
Your application documents should consist of a letter of motivation, a structured curriculum vitae and all relevant certificates and references (employers, internships, school reports). Please make sure not to send more than six MB.
How does the application process work?
After you have submitted your application to us, you will receive confirmation of receipt. The processing time of the documents varies depending on the position. We will contact you as soon as possible.
If the decision is positive, you will be invited for a personal interview. In addition, we use case studies and presentations for personnel selection in follow-up interviews - depending on the position and your personal qualifications.
How do I prepare for the interview?
The first interview is about getting to know each other personally in an open dialogue in which you and we introduce yourself. You should consciously deal with your skills and knowledge - as well as with your fields of learning. Similarly, you should inform yourself about the Kerkhoff Group or the services of the respective subsidiary. An exciting dialogue can only develop if you also have questions for us.
What happens after the interview?
We give you the opportunity to reflect on the impressions and information from the interview and look forward to your feedback. We will make our decision immediately after the last interview for the respective position. We will inform you of this either by telephone or in writing.
Can I also send an unsolicited application?
You are also very welcome to send us an unsolicited application. Perhaps you will be able to anticipate an intended vacancy. However, we will also be happy to answer your question on the phone as to whether it makes sense to apply at the current time. Please feel free to contact us!
Which degree can I apply for?
The field of study is not decisive for us. You can apply to us with a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a university or college. We attach particular importance to the experience you have gained during your internships, stays abroad and your professional life.
Do I also have a chance without commercial or technical studies?
The prerequisite for an application as a consultant is a completed academic education. In principle, lateral entry is possible, whereby a commercial background is very helpful in any case.
I'm not sure what level of hierarchy to apply to. What should I do?
Apply to us with your complete application documents and references. We process all application documents and rate you individually according to your strengths and weaknesses. In an interview, we can get to know you even better and determine the ideal position for you.
Are travel expenses reimbursed?
Travel expenses incurred by you will be reimbursed - depending on the distance to your destination and taking into account the relevant information in the letter of invitation - by submitting the original receipts for travel by train or plane or by indicating the kilometres travelled for travel by car.
What can I expect as an intern?
As an intern in consulting, you will be integrated into the project work as a member of the respective project team right from the start. You will be deployed on site at the customer's premises or in the respective back office - on the one hand this will depend on the experience you have already gained and on the other hand on the content of the internship.
What is the minimum duration of an internship?
We want to guarantee a high learning curve in our internships. An internship should last about three months. Only in such a period is it guaranteed that you will gain deep and helpful insights into the practice with the customer on site or in the back office.
Is the internship remunerated?
Kerkhoff Consulting supports the Initiative Fair Company, which advocates fair internships and real opportunities for university graduates. It goes without saying that we offer interns adequate remuneration.
